| Xanga's nearly dead, isn't it? but I know a few people still read it. well, JesusBranded (Jesusbranded.net) is offering a promotion where if you write blog entry about them, they will give you a free t-shirt. Now, I must admit that I'm doing this for a free t-shirt, but, that said, I really, honestly think JesusBranded is a wonderful company. A large portion of their profits (I don't know exactly how much...maybe they should post it on the site?) are given to The Orphanage Project. The Orphanage Project is a non-profit organization based in India that not only helps feed and clothe orphans, but provides them with an education to transform their lives. Most importantly, they love the children who have experienced very little, if any, love in their lives. I believe it is vital to support clothing companies like JesusBranded. Lately, I've been thinking about what it means to be a responsible consumer. To be honest, when I buy clothes from Target or Old Navy, etc., I have no idea who made the clothes and what I'm supporting with the money I spend. I may inadvertently be supporting sweatshops filled with child laborers who work for mere pennies. Thus, I've been buying more clothes at thrift stores than I have in the past years, although I've always been an avid fan of thrift store shopping. I know that the money I spend there will go to good causes - besides, it's cheap! I appreciate that JesusBranded is committed to charitable giving, and my money is wisely used. PLUS, their clothes are cute. Moral of the story: JesusBranded is an extraordinary, unique, responsible company, and you can feel good about the purchases you make from them.

| wow.
It's been a looong time.
facebook rocks, but I admit that I do miss the glory days of good ol' xanger.
So, Wonderland is long over, my teachers give WAY too much homework, the HYPE dance was a blast, and I'm somewhat sad this school year is coming to an end. But only somewhat.
Life is pretty crazy, you know that?
It changes so fast, and things you want to hold on to slip away so quickly.
hmm.
Empty hands held high
Such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight
May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You ~ Casting Crowns

| You are God in
heaven, and here am I on earth. So I'll let my words be few: Jesus, I am so in love with You.
LOVE that song.
Wow, I haven't posted in a long time, have I? Xanga is rather dead.
Life's been pretty good lately. Christmas was fun; I got moose slippers! Yeah, I'm cool ;) My favorite gift was the Pride and Prejudice DVD, though. And a very cool devotional. (see above) I highly recommend it.
School is starting...not entirely ready but that's ok. Who is?
Wonderland is going swimmingly. ( I think that's a funny word. ) I'm loving rehearsals.
I'm working on my KAA right now. I'm pretty positive that any of you who read this has no idea what that is, and I feel like being mysterious and not telling you. muha. Hmm. Sorry this post is so boring. But I love this verse!
Romans 5:7-8 (the Message) We can understand someone dying for a
person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and
noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on
the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were
of no use whatever to him.

| I Peter 5: 6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Philippians 4: 6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 12:2 (part of it, anyway...) The Lord God is my strength and my song; I'll keep editing this post....
[edit une] My audition didn't go too bad :) I've had worse, and my dance audition was better than I expected! so that was pretty happy. and last night at like 11:20 I found out I'd been called back! yay for my first callback! I have to say, they were a blast. I actually didn't get to do that much, but when I did it was fun :) now for the waiting..... [edit deux] AH! Congrats to everyone, East, South, and North! | long time, no post. :)
School's out for Thanksgiving! Are you all ready for the shopping frenzy? I'll be making money while everyone's spending it. I have a babysitting job Friday morning at 5:30. Muha. That should be interesting.
Auditions for Wonderland are in 9 days! Is that really possible? It seems like I've been waiting for it for so long, and now that it's actually almost here, I can't believe it! I haven't been in a play for forever, (since Robin Hood last March) so I'm excited.
Hmm...I decided to make a happy little survey for you to fill out! 1. Your name: 2. Your birthday: 3. A totally random fact about yourself: 4. One thing you really, really want for Christmas:
If you fill this out, you will make my day :)
Philippains 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I wrote a letter today
And what I wrote
Was my own obituary
Cause from the graveyard of self
You have resurrected me
I sing Jesus
You have changed the way I do everything
You have changed the way I see everything
Looked in the mirror today
And what I saw was not the same as yesterday
Cause more and more You’re Transforming and rearranging
